Time lost between shooting areas: settling feet before shooting, or standing still after the last shot.

Filter Drill Factory

Likely causes

  • Starting to move only after the last shot has finished.
  • Big stutter steps or stopping fully before the gun comes up.
  • Not knowing where the first shot in the next position is.

Fixes & cues

  1. 01Leave on the last shot — feet move as soon as the final shot breaks.
  2. 02Gun up and eyes on the first target before you arrive; shoot as soon as the sight picture is acceptable.
  3. 03Lower stance and short final steps when coming into a position.
