I fumble reloads
Mag misses the magwell, you look down at the gun, or the reload split varies a lot from run to run.
Likely causes
- Gun drops or comes too far into the body, so you lose the visual on the magwell.
- Mag grabbed differently each time.
- Eyes not moving to the magwell at the right moment.
Fixes & cues
- 01Bring the gun back only slightly and tilt it toward the reloading hand; keep it in your peripheral vision.
- 02Index finger along the front of the mag on the grab; point it at the magwell.
- 03Eyes go to the magwell as the mag comes up, then back to the target.
